Ashley Musil is a midwife, owner and clinical director at Wellspring Midwifery Care & Birth Center. She is the ex-officio president of the Greater Houston Midwives' Alliance. She serves as a regional representative for the Association of Texas Midwives and is also the Education Chair for ATM. She serves the northeast area of Greater Houston, including Kingwood, Humble, Cleveland, Crosby, Dayton, Livingston, Splendora, Porter, New Caney, Conroe, and surrounding areas. Wellspring offers both birth center and home births. The birth center is located in Cleveland, Texas on 5 beautiful acres of countryside. Ashley has taught continuing education classes to birth professionals, presented at multiple conferences, been interviewed on radio shows, has had articles printed in Midwifery Today and Natural Awakenings, and wrote a biblical devotion book for expecting couples called “Expecting Miracles.” She has a passion for continuing education as well as inter-professional education as a means to bring professionals from various areas of the maternity care system together. She is also an instructor for the Association of Texas Midwives and trains the next generation of midwives through apprenticeship.
