My name is DeShaun Desrosiers and I’m a homeschooling mother of 2. My passion and journey in birth work began 8 years ago after the birth of my first child. 2 years later, I had a successful VBAC and fully began serving the community as a Doula and Childbirth Educator. After desiring more change in the maternal health care system, I began my journey to becoming a Licensed Midwife.  My goal is to offer holistic and compassionate care. 

For 3 years, I’ve worked with Houston’s NAACP to address racial disparities in maternal health and childbirth. I’ve also had the honor of working alongside herbalists and Midwives in both Benin and Ghana, (West Africa), and use many of those teaches in my care. I look forward to serving you in the capacity you need during your maternity journey. Fun facts about me are that I own and live on a farm, I enjoy the natural homestead life, and I love collectibles like comics and VHS tapes!
